These are the most common access problems suppliers hit in the first few days, and what to do about each one.
My company does not appear when I register
When you register, we match you to an existing organisation using your email domain. If your domain is already associated with a company on Green Project, you join it automatically. If it is not, your request goes to your organisation's admin for approval.
If neither happens, it is usually one of these:
You registered with a personal or shared email address. Addresses on gmail.com, outlook.com or a shared inbox cannot be matched to a company domain. Register with your work address if you have one.
Your company uses a different domain to the one your customer has on file. Common where a group operates several trading names, or where email runs on a legacy domain.
Your company has not been added yet. If your customer has not uploaded you to their supplier list, there is nothing for you to join.
In all three cases, email [email protected] with your company legal name, your company website, and the name of the customer who invited you. We will find or create the right record and link you to it. Please do not create a second account, as that causes the duplicate problem described below.
My admin has not approved my request
If your domain matched an existing organisation but you are waiting on approval, the request has gone to whoever set up your company's account. That may be a colleague in a different team, or someone who has since left.
Contact support and we will tell you who holds admin rights, or transfer them if that person has left the company.
I have joined the wrong organisation
This happens where a group shares an email domain across several legal entities, and it matters, because emissions and revenue need to be reported for the same legal entity. Do not start entering data.
Contact support with the legal entity you should be attached to and we will move your user account. Anything you have already entered can usually be moved with you.
There appear to be two records for my company
Duplicate records split your submission in two, so neither looks complete and your customer may see the wrong one. Tell support which record you have been working in and we will merge them. Engagement status, questionnaires and emissions are all tracked at company level, so merging keeps your work rather than discarding it.
I was expecting a request from my customer and cannot see one
Before you chase it, check the most likely explanation: your customer may not need to send a request at all. Your profile is shared with your Green Project buyers by default, so they can already see what you have built. Customers only send a request when something specific is missing. No request in your list is often good news rather than a fault.
Where a request does exist, you will get an email and an in-app notification, and it appears in your profile alongside its deadline. Each requirement, such as your corporate carbon footprint or a product carbon footprint, shows its own compliance status, so that is the place to look to see what is outstanding.
If you have switched your Public profile toggle off, your profile is request-only and you will see two tabs instead, Access requests and Companies with access. See Managing Your Profile and Customer Requests.
If you have confirmed a request should exist and it is still not there, email support with the customer's name and we will check whether it was sent to a different user or a different company record.
My login is not working
Use the password reset link on the sign-in page. If the reset email does not arrive, ask your IT team to allow email from @engage50.greenprojecttech.com, @emitwise.com and @greenprojecttech.com, then try again. See Registering with Green Project.
What to include when you email support
It saves a round trip if your first message has:
Your company legal name and website
The email address you registered with
The customer who invited you
What you see on screen, or a screenshot
If you are close to a submission deadline, say so and copy your customer contact. Deadlines can usually be extended where the delay was an access problem rather than a data one.
