Your corporate sustainability profile is shared with all of your Green Project buyers by default. They can see the profile you've already built without asking you first. The goal is to cut down on repetitive data requests: rather than sharing the same footprint with each new customer, your data is available to them automatically, and you only hear from them when something is genuinely missing.
Your Public Profile (the default)
With a public profile, your Green Project buyers can view your company profile, corporate carbon footprint (total and intensity), sustainability initiatives and reduction targets, renewable electricity and energy data, supply chain engagement progress, and any Product Carbon Footprints you've published. Because they already have access, customers only request what's missing, not what you've already shared.
Switching to Request-Only
If you'd prefer to approve each customer individually, switch the Public profile toggle off. Your profile then becomes request-only: customers must request access, and you decide who gets it. When the toggle is off you'll see two tabs, Access requests (pending requests waiting on your decision) and Companies with access (customers you've already approved), so you can manage exactly who can view your data.
Worth weighing the trade-off, though: with request-only you handle each customer's request yourself, so expect more repeat questionnaires, slower onboarding for new buyers, and the chance that a buyer cannot see your data at the moment they need it.
Reviewing and Responding to Requests
Whether your profile is public or request-only, a customer may still send a request, for example when they need a section you haven't completed yet. When they do, you'll get a notification by email and in-app. Log in, go to Customer Requests or Shared Data, and review the details: which customer is asking, what data they need, the deadline, and any notes.
For each request you can approve it and choose which sections to include, set an optional expiration date, or decline if the timing or the relationship isn't right.
You Stay in Control
You maintain full control of your data at all times. You can switch between public and request-only whenever you like, review exactly what's in your profile, and revoke an individual customer's access. If you update your emissions data after sharing, those updates are reflected automatically for everyone who can see your profile.
