Rules for type
Use lowercase letters, digits and underscores only, for example
business_unit.Hyphens, periods and spaces are not allowed in a type.
Don't name a type
ref_id,label,category,active_at,retired_atoraction. These are reserved column names on the Activities tab.Watch for typos.
faciltycreates a separate tag type that won't match your other data.
Rules for name
Letters and digits, with single hyphens, underscores or periods between them, for example
denver-officeorsite_01.Must start and end with a letter or digit.
No spaces, no other punctuation and no accented characters.
We recommend all lowercase.
See Naming conventions and allowed characters for details.
Do you need a row here?
You only need a Tags row for a tag if you want to give it a title or traits. If an activity references a tag that doesn't exist yet, Measure creates it automatically, but with no title.
Tags with controlled types, such as country, fuel_code, gas and us_egrid, generally don't need a row here. Measure already knows them and shows their display names.
