By default, Response Hub answers from the most recent reporting year, which is the current year minus one. It assumes clients aren’t filling in surveys about data from more than a year ago.
To use a different year, put the year in the survey file’s name, or add a line in the survey document telling it which inventory year to use.
To get better answers to written questions, upload knowledge base documents to the client’s organization, such as company details, contacts, EIN and policies. Without them, Response Hub mostly answers numeric questions, because it won’t guess when the data isn’t in the inventory.
