EAC Pricing, Geographic Coverage and Product Selection

Updated over 3 weeks ago

What Products Will I Be Offered?

act50 defaults to RE100-compliant EACs β€” typically wind and solar β€” which are accepted by virtually all reporting frameworks including the GHG Protocol market-based Scope 2 method and RE100. When you join through your customer's campaign, the product bundle has already been configured to meet their specific requirements, so the right product for your location and reporting year is matched to you automatically.

Geographic Coverage

The certificate type available depends on where your facility is located:

If your facility is in a country not listed in your cart, you can submit a request directly from within the platform and the act50 team will identify the nearest available alternative.

Pricing

EAC prices are driven by supply and demand in each regional market. US RECs are among the least expensive globally, Taiwan T-RECs among the most expensive due to limited supply, and European GOs are generally mid-range. act50 displays the sourcing price per EAC in your cart. Prices are live and subject to change β€” if you've agreed a specific price with the act50 team, confirm the final amount before completing payment.
