What Is act50?
act50 is Green Project's renewable energy procurement platform. It allows you to purchase EACs directly from within your supplier profile, without needing to engage a separate broker or navigate external registries. If you already purchase renewable electricity through a green tariff or third-party provider, you can also upload that evidence directly to act50 instead.
Step 1: Set Up Your Account
Look out for an email from your renewable energy campaign manager with a link to your account creation page. After creating your account, you'll be asked to review the platform Terms & Conditions on first login β scroll to the bottom and click Agree before proceeding.
Step 2: Enter Your Facility Data
Navigate to the Facilities screen and enter each location where you consume electricity: facility name, address and country, and annual electricity consumption in MWh by year. You can add facilities individually or use the bulk upload template if you have multiple sites.
Step 3: Build Your Cart
Go to the Reduction screen and click Customise & Buy next to your product bundle. If you joined act50 through your customer's campaign, you'll see a bundle named after them β this contains only products that meet their specific renewable energy criteria. Select your Reduction Year and set the percentage of usage you want to address at each facility.
Step 4: Complete Your Purchase
Choose your preferred currency (USD for US-domiciled banks, EUR for EU-domiciled banks if paying by bank transfer)
Click Proceed to Payment
Review your company name as it will appear on your Retirement Statement
Approve and continue
Pay by credit card or bank payment
π‘ Payment by invoice (net seven terms) is available for eligible orders. Net seven means payment is due within seven days of the invoice date.
If you see a Submit Request button instead of Proceed to Payment, your order requires custom pricing and the act50 team will contact you.
Step 5: Check Your Order Status
You'll receive a confirmation email and can view order details in the History screen at any time. Documentation will be uploaded to your act50 account as it becomes available. For questions, contact [email protected].
