Green Project asks for your annual revenue to calculate your emissions intensity. Revenue enables fair comparison between companies of different sizes, accounts for business growth, supports accurate benchmarking, and helps validate that your emissions data is reasonable.
Report your total annual revenue from the same financial year as your emissions data — gross revenue (total sales before deductions), for the same 12-month period, covering your whole company including all operating locations and business units.
If your company has recently merged, been acquired, or undergone significant restructuring, note this in your submission so we can interpret your data accurately.
Which currency should I report in?
Your own. When you enter your revenue, select your currency from the dropdown in the platform. There is no need to convert it yourself, and you should not convert it, as the platform handles that when calculating your intensity.
How to enter the figure
Enter your revenue as a whole number, with no decimal points. Select your currency from the dropdown alongside it.
❕Your revenue is treated confidentially. It's used only to calculate your intensity, create anonymised industry benchmarks, and validate data quality. We never share your specific revenue figure with other suppliers. Your customer may see your intensity benchmark, but not your actual revenue.
