Managing Customer Requests and Sharing Your Profile

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Your customers can submit data requests through Green Project asking you to share your emissions profile and carbon footprint data. You control what information they receive.

When a customer sends a request, you'll receive a notification by email and in-app. Log in, navigate to Customer Requests or Shared Data, and review the details β€” which customer is requesting, what data they're asking for, the submission deadline, and any notes they've included.

For each request, you decide whether to approve it and what to share. Review the request, click Approve, choose which sections of your profile to include, set an optional expiration date if needed, and submit. You can also decline a request if the timing doesn't work or you prefer not to share data with that customer at this stage.

Once you approve, your customer can see your company profile, corporate carbon footprint data, emissions intensity benchmark, any sustainability initiatives or reduction targets you've set, and links to your Product Carbon Footprints if available.

You maintain full control β€” if you update your emissions data after sharing, those updates are reflected automatically. You can also revoke access at any time.
