Navigating your Company Profile & Submitting Data

Step-by-step guide to navigating your profile and submitting emissions data on the engage50 platform.

First, you'll receive an email invitation with a link to claim your profile or log in. Once inside, your profile will guide you through everything needed to submit your data.

To get started, click the relevant link:

Once you’ve received your invitation email, simply follow the link to log in or register your account. Everything you need to complete your submission is ready for you within your profile.

1. Getting Started: Select Your Financial Year

When you first log in, start by checking you’re working on the right financial year.
Click on your company name (usually at the top of the page), then head to the Financial Year section. Make sure you’re set to the correct year—most suppliers report on the most recent financial year, but you can also add previous years if required.

2. Understanding Your Scorecard & Data Requirements

On the right side of your profile, you’ll spot your scorecard. If you haven’t uploaded any data yet, don’t worry—it’s normal for this to say “Insufficient” at first.

As you scroll down, you’ll see a list of the data you’re required to provide. This section also displays your company’s emissions intensity factor once you’ve submitted your data and it’s been processed. Each request may require different data, so make sure each checklist point is marked as complete.

A little further down is the benchmarking panel. This isn’t relevant before submitting data, but it’s a helpful way to compare your performance against others in your sector once your profile is complete.

3. Completing Your Profile & Submitting Data

Now, move on to completing your profile:

A. If you are requested to submit your Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF):

  • Add your annual revenue for the financial year you’re reporting on (whole numbers only).

  • In the Emissions section, you have two main options:

    • Pre-calculated:
If you already have your corporate carbon footprint totals, use the Add data button to upload your Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 results.

    • Calculate now:
If you need to calculate your emissions, click Get a free calculation and upload your spend data using our Spend Template. The platform will handle the calculations automatically.

      What is Spend Data?

Spend data is a record of all the goods and services your company purchased during the financial year you’re reporting on. It’s usually managed by your finance or procurement team and is often exported from your accounting system.

This data allows the platform to estimate your carbon footprint if you haven’t already calculated it. By analysing what your business spends money on, we can automatically calculate your emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3.

    • If you need to edit previously submitted CCF data:
Click the button in the top right of the Emissions section and choose to edit your pre-calculated data or re-upload your spend file.

B. If you are specifically requested to submit your Product Carbon Footprint (PCF):

  • In the Product Carbon Footprints section of your profile, you’ll see options for product-level reporting:

    • Pre-calculated:
If you already have product carbon footprint results, select Add data and upload your PCF for each relevant product.

    • Import:
You can also import PCF data directly if you have it in a compatible format.

    • Calculate:
To calculate a PCF on the platform, choose Calculate a PCF and upload your bill of materials (BOM) or other relevant product-level data. The platform will guide you through the process.

  • Editing previously submitted PCF data:
If you need to make changes, click the three dots on the specific PCF line.

Once everything is entered and uploaded, your data will be reviewed by our team.

4. What Happens Next

After submitting, you don’t need to do anything further straight away. If our carbon team needs you to update anything, you’ll receive an email notification with clear instructions—just follow the instructions tto resolve any data quality issues if they arise.
