Connecting your utility accounts to Green Project
Instructions
Green Project can automatically pull electricity usage data for customers of most major utilities in North America. A full list of supported utilities is provided at the end of this article.
- Log in to your Green Project dashboard.
- In the top right corner of your screen, click the “Settings” (gear) icon, and select “Integrations”
- Select “Connect Electric Utility”. A new tab will open containing the Utility login screen.
- In the new tab, select your utility and enter the credentials for your utility account. Note: You must use the username and password you use to log in to your Utility account, not your Green Project username and password.
- In most cases, your credentials will be validated instantly. For some utilities using older data systems, it may take a few days to validate your credentials--your Green Project account representative will reach out if there are any issues.
- You can now close this tab. If you have other utility accounts to connect, simply click “Connect Electric Utility” again to start a new authorization.
